Sequencing practice.

Following on from last Fridays Critique seminar, during which we gave group feedback on each others Christmas task, we have been tasked with sequencing the work of a fellow class member.  Developing on what we have learnt about using the images to tell a narrative I am going to attempt to use Joshua Hughes’ photographs to create a story of his day in the way I feel works best.

I have received these images not knowing anything about the context of location that they were shot. I have tried to order them into a sequence that makes sense to the viewer.  Clearly the images are taken at a nature park or zoo, so I have tried to give a sense of journey to the images, starting with the trees which could define the approach to the location. I have also tried to use the tones and colours of the images to bring them together in a natural flow.
